A bigger question
Dr. Lovelie Moore’s career has been a study in two kinds of vulnerability. For more than 15 years she has protected organizations from digital ones — enterprise, public-sector and military environments — while her research kept returning to the human layer beneath the technology.
That perspective eventually condensed into a larger question:
If organizations rigorously identify and patch technological vulnerabilities, what would happen if people applied the same discipline to the vulnerabilities within themselves?
The answer connects everything she does: an executive career in cybersecurity, doctoral research on how people learn to judge risk, a framework called IM PATCHED, a book — My Vulnerabilities Are PATCHED — and the talks she gives to rooms of security leaders, educators and readers.
