The book

My Vulnerabilities Are PATCHED

A cybersecurity framework for human resilience — two books in one: the book and I’m PATCHED: The Journey Journal.

Ignored vulnerabilities become entry points. Patched vulnerabilities build resilience.

Why this book exists

Cybersecurity meets human resilience

Organizations rigorously identify and patch technological vulnerabilities — on a cycle, without ego, as a matter of discipline. This book asks a simple question: what would happen if people applied the same discipline to the vulnerabilities within themselves?

Written for anyone stuck in cycles of unhealthy relationships, repeating patterns or ignoring their inner warning signs, it fuses cybersecurity principles with emotional healing — using the language of systems, networks and digital defenses to reframe healing as both an emotional and a technical evolution: patching old wounds, debugging toxic patterns, strengthening the internal firewalls that protect your peace.

From the first chapter to the final page, the parallels run both ways: outdated beliefs act like unpatched software; emotional misconfigurations become backdoors for manipulation; past traumas function like malware that reroutes identity, trust and self-worth.

The central analogy

System vulnerabilities ↔ human vulnerabilities

  • Patching software→Addressing unresolved human vulnerabilities
  • Firewalls→Personal boundaries
  • Malware→Harmful patterns and past trauma
  • Backdoors→Emotional or behavioral weaknesses that can be exploited
  • Debugging→Reflection and behavioral change
  • Identity protection→Self-worth, identity and boundaries

Key themes

Awareness · Boundaries · Healing

Identity and self-worth · boundaries as firewalls · debugging harmful patterns · resilience after rupture · accountability as patching · emotional risk decision-making.

Who it’s for

Anyone rebuilding

Readers navigating repeating patterns, boundaries or burnout who find the language of systems more honest than the language of self-help.

Who it’s for

Security leaders

CISOs and practitioners who sense that the human attack surface deserves the same rigor as the technical one.

Who it’s for

Clubs & conversations

Book clubs, leadership circles and podcast conversations looking for a fresh frame on resilience.

The journey journal

I’m PATCHED: The Journey Journal

The edition pairs the book with a guided journal — as published: “My Vulnerabilities Are PATCHED & I’m PATCHED: The Journey Journal — two books in one.” Reading becomes patching: reflection prompts turn each chapter’s ideas into personal, documented work.
